Free Space. 2015. My interest in bingo goes back to my childhood in Ohio. My family would frequent smoky union halls and church basements to play for cash prizes. In this series of drawings, the accoutrements of bingo are used to create a condition of struggle. I first drew a grid and then filled in the spaces as quickly and as accurately as possible.
